I have a 90 ranger 2.3 liter. The heater hose that runs to the heater core has a t in it. One comes from the water pump. One goes to the heater core. Where does the other one go to? I am new to ford rangers. But I do enjoy my truck. Any advice will be appreciated.

The other end goes up under the intake manifold on the other side of the engine, it's a bypass to try to get the engine to warm up faster.

Thank you. I was hoping it was something like that.
