I am doing a clutch change on my sisters Ranger. When attempting to remove the pilot bearing, it came apart leaving the outer sleeve stuck. In otherwords, the inner bearing housing and all the needle bearings came out but I am unable to get the outer race to budge. I have tried pounding it with grease and with bread (yes that is a method) and nothing is budging. I am open to any suggestions. Looks like I could saw through it with a hacksaw blade if I was real careful...any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks, that is just what I needed to see. I did not realize the pilot bearing was just in the flywheel. I assumed it was in the crank and had been on my back trying to get it out with several pullers. Now I see I can unbolt the flywheel and work with it on the bench. THANK YOU.

You are welcome. workbench beats on your back under the truck any day :)
