90,000 mile maintenance

Okay my Ranger is approaching the 90,000 mile maintenance. What do I need to get done at the 90,000 maintenance?

The First thing you should do is fill in your vehicle profile with as much info as possible. so we know what we are dealing with. Also if you can tells us what maintenance has been done.. Do you tow with the vehicle, etc, etc,

at a 100,000 I change the fluid in the Rear Axle, change the fuel filter, change coolant if it's never been changed before, repack the front wheel bearings, grease the steering joints and change transmission fluids, basically the things you don't do every 4,000 miles.

If you look in your owner's manual, there is or should be a maintenance schedule based on mileage.

if its a 2001 and down 2.3/2.5 i would change the timing belt

Air filter, fuel filter, oil and filter, flush the tranny if it's an automatic, change the tranny lube if it's a stick, change the t-case lube if it's a 4x4. I'd also change the spark plugs and wires if they haven't been done yet. Coolant on most is supposed to be changed at 45k, so your second coolant change will be due. Some of the later models have extended life coolant though, which I think is good for 100k.
