Wow I am so frustrated with Ballistic Fabrication right now. I called them on the 10th to see what was up and they said they were waiting for a shipment of bushing for the rod ends that would come in monday the 15th and they would ship them second day air on the 15th. Well the next day (11th) I got a shipping tracking notification from ups for a GROUND shipment from ups. I got that shipment today with once again HALF of my backordered parts. I got my 5 QA1 rod ends for my steering and trackbar but no forged rod ends or tube adapters for my radius arms. So I called them again. They said they would go check on my rod ends and call me back to let me know. No call yet :annoyed: I also got two tube adapters in the box with my rod ends that I did not order and match nothing I am using. I hope some random guy wont be waiting 2 months because they sent me his tube adapters. I just really really really hate it when I have to babysit a company to get all my parts. :annoyed:

I had about the same issue's with ballistic. terrible shipping dept. sweet build, cant wait to see it done. did you try driving it with just one hub locked (short shaft side). That's how we roll around in the snow so front tire's wont wash when going around corner's. they still do somewhat if it's locked/welded rear. but it's not nearly as bad as having both hub's locked. ( just dont be reaming on it)

BTW It look's like your "GHETTO" garage is turning into an allright workshop. just have to get some spare rims to roll the truck out on

I always found Ruff Stuff was cheaper and really easy to work with...I even bought a shirt!

Lookin great!

sometimes i get aggravated navigating ruff stuff's site. hard to read the micro print on the side. other than that There product's ROCK and they send you sticker's which we all know is horsepower. my cooler has so much damn power i cant keep hinge's on it i had to upgrade to barn hinge's

THREAD JACKING OVER

Thanks for the comments guys. I had to call ballistic fab again to see if they were gonna send it and they finally put it together and sent it 2nd day air for me. A special thanks to Will at ballistic fab. He was the one that answered the phone and figured everything out and was very polite about everything. He actually went and built my order yesterday and made sure it got shipped. I do really like ruffstuffs products and they have been very quick and organized in my experience. The only reason I ordered from ballistic is because of the joints I wanted and brackets as well. Thanks for the garage compliment kroussin. The last two years I have spent more on tools than on groceries. I figured they wont get any less usefull and hopefully will last a long time.

i just wish ruffstuff offered the axle bracket's im lookin at with the spring link combo

like the build so far. subscribed

Went home this weekend so no progress. However, I did order 4.11s for the 44 front along with a open carrier and a spartan locker. I wanted to go with an aussie but they have been out of stock forever for the 44. I think the spartan will be good though, especially for $207. School will be a little busy this week but I should be able to rip into the front end and get steel for my rad arms.
