89 Ranger 4x4 super cab gas tank

I have a 89 4x4 super cab. The gas tank has multiple leaks. Tried to fix and I’m over it. I know they do not sell any factory tanks online or anywhere.
Does anyone know what yrs use the same gas tank so I can look for someone parting out or selling used.

If its a plastic tank it can be welded, plastic welding, its how they are made

1989 extended cab got the 17gal tank before November and 20gal after that, info here: https://www.therangerstation.com/fo...pacity.105436/#lg=_xfUid-1-1585845871&slide=0

So 1989 was a transition year, you would need to see which one you have to know which one to get
But 1989 should have 17gal as Nov of 1989 should be 1990 model year production

Thanks for the info and reply. I bought a tank out of a 96 ranger. It is identical to my 89 tank except for the nipples one the sides that clip on the heat shield. which was my issue, those nipples were leaking fuel. I bought the tank for 60$. Everything fits and works perfect.
