89 Ford Ranger SAS

Sweet looking pics! truck looks like it did real good.

did you get rid of any drive line vibrations with the one piece shaft? was it worth the swap? was it hard to do? i have a drive line vibration in my 91 and its not the u joints so im considering the swap

ya the swap is worth it I did it on my rig at the same time he did. We slid the old support forward one bolt hole though not back lol

thanks!
You have a pretty sweet truck.
I love your bumper! I am in the process of building one right now.

So I don't know who all has been following my thread, but my truck got fixed!!! The insurance wanted to total it, but I said no way. They got tired of arguing with me so they finally fix it. It cost $2,950 to fix. Now it is in nearly perfect condition.

so here is a before and after.

By the way, there is no bumper because I am making one.

sorry I will update soon. I have built a new trany mount, track bar mount, and I finished my bumper.

This is one of the cleanest Ext cab that actually gets used that I've ever seen. Keep up the good work!

wish mine looked like that. I need to SAS my 89 the TTb is beat after jumping it a few times. Mine was hit in the same spot prior to me buying it and the whole front end is pushed toward the pass side slightly. enough where the hood wont line up

So a little update!!

I somewhat finished my bumper. I still want to grind down all the welds to make all the edges rounded, but it takes so long....
p.s yes those are brand new KM2s!!!!! :yahoo:

Here are some pictures of the new trany mount. I wanted to be able to pull the trany without taking my radius arm brackets off.

Truck is looking sweet with the new meats and bumper!!

Those first few pics look like the tierod is bent. Just the angle??

If we were playing "can you find", you would win haha. :icon_thumby:

Ya I bent it on the Rubicon. Only thing that happened though.

I just ordered more weld in bungs to make a new one.

Beautiful build. Bend T.R.E's are why I'm going high steer. You should definitely look into it
