Well we planed on taking our time and doing it in three days. We ended up doing it in two.
Our video cameras ran out of battery..... So, we didn't get the last third of the trip.....
Some people just go straight through in one day. Some people go half way and then camp for 5 days before driving through the rest. It really just depends how long you want to be away from running water and a bathroom. haha

Runnin water and bathrooms are overated haha. If it was me I would shoot for 2-3 days that way you get to actually see what your drivin through and that way you're not pressed for time.

Ya who needs water haha. Ya I like being able to enjoy the trip and not be rushed too. I can wait for this year!! One month away!!!

I really wouldn't mind going to Rubicon one of these days, but I am really hesitant since I haven't really talked to anyone in person who has done it. I am kind of curious as to whether or not I could do it with the way my truck is now...

I think you could make it just fine, if you got rid of your anti sway bar, added some rock sliders, and welded your spider gears up front. You do need some form of a locker though. If you watched my videos. My buddy in that blue jeep was open front and rear. Every time we got to a harder obstacle like all of Cadillac hill (which we don't have video of ), I had to get through it and then winch him through.....

The only thing about it is, take your time, and don't let your tires spin. If they are spinning than stop and pick a different line. I saw to many people in front of me braking crap b/c they tried powering through it. That is when you break crap....

I actually made them just out of high school.
I will post a bunch of pictures of them tomorrow so everyone can see them.

I am new to this form, the first thread I clicked on was the TOTM, I saw your truck so I voted for you.
I want to build my truck kinda like yours, but I think I want to use a dana 30 out of a jeep. I want to see more pictures of your tube doors too!!!!
