89/90 differences

Can anyone tell me the differences between the early 2.9 and the later ones...(90 and later)

I wouldn't think there are too many. Wiring should all be the same. Are you swaping engines? This type of info can be useful. We can then tell you exactly what you need to know.

I am rebuilding a 88 block to go into a 90, Using most of the 90 parts

heads might be different the 90 heads might be the upgraded ones

I'd think they'd fit.
