I have a "89 2.9L Ranger with MPFI thats spraying gas out of the tailpipe. Any ideas?

fuel pressure regulator smell for fuel from the vacuum line going to it or it could be injectors also if you have fuel in the regulator vacuum hose check the brake booster line also and check for fuel in the booster as it will destroy the seals in it.

Have replaced the reg. and have no fuel in the vacuum line

It seems alot like its running way too rich!
Hows the timing? Spark plugs looking OK? Any sputtering, misfiring?
