Here I have some photos of the restoration I did on my brother's pickup, I'll try to post all the photos I have, hope you guys don't mind.

First of all, here it is almost as my brother bought it (minor changes)

Looks like progress! What was wrong with the motor? Are you rebuilding it or putting something else in?

I'm way too new in the forum, didn't know about the build thread.. :icon_idea:


The motor was OK.. but it had massive oil spill.. so it started as a cleaning and replacing seals project only, but turned out a complete engine overhaul instead :D

Thats what a bad rear main seal does to the tranny housing.
 
So..

let's check the oil in the tranny..

Should be ok Right?

Can you say massive oil loss from shift rail plugs ? :icon_bounceblue:

Almost entirely one plug fell into the tranny so I opened it.
