First time I've posted here so this may be a stupid question!
I have an 88 2wd Ranger XLT, 2.9 manual tranny. We've been getting a lot of snow here in Northern Indiana in the last few years so I'd like to get a few more inches clearance in the front. I know I can put spacers to give me a couple more inches without major mods but I was wondering if there were any other I-beams I could use from another year or vehicle that would give me more clearance. I was hoping for between 3-5 inches more clearance. I have access to a well stocked junk yard and was hoping someone would be able to point me into the right direction. I've checked out the aftermarket I-beams and I really can't spend $3-5k on new I-beams.
Any help would be appreciated!
