Heya!
Im back again haha, the guy who rebuilt the 2.9 in his 88 Ranger. Well everything is together and Im having an issue. When the truck is cold it has a problem where it runs really rough for a minute or two(like its running too rich) Ive replaced the TPS and idle sensor, as well as injectors, fuel pump, and ACT sensor. The check engine light was on, and the code reader told me it was the ACT sensor. I replaced it, the light turned off and it ran awesome! Then the next day it went bad again. Any suggestions on sensors or any ideas what my problem could be??

What is an "idle sensor"? What is an ATC? What codes do you have?

The idle sensor is that big kinda silver looking sensor on the side of the plenum next to the tps. and the ACT is the air charge temperature sensor. I replaced the act cause my code reader was only giving me the code that it was bad. Now im not getting any codes but it still runs bad at an idle

OH, you mean the Idle Air Control valve. It's not a sensor. Try it, might help.

Yeah I replaced it ha and still nothing. But Im pretty sure my fuel return line is clogged or pinched so thats my next investigation
