88 ranger fuse panel locations?

I just bought an 88 ranger 4x4 x cab auto. I found the fuse panel on the drivers side by your knee, but there doesn't seem to be enough fuses there for the entire vehicle. I've read references to another fuse panel under the Hood, even seen a fuse layout diagram. But I can't find the panel. I feel like an idiot because I'm pretty mechanically inclined but this has me stumped...

There is not one under the hood. You have some fusable links and a couple relays between the air filter box and the fender.
