We just got done putting a 302 out of a 1989 Lincoln with AOD transmission. We made our own motor mount adapters and rear motor mount as well. We used a radiator out of a 1994 Explorer which was a 4 core and have 2 10" 1,000 CFM each fans in front with a 28,000 pound trans cooler. I wired the existing wiring harness from the Lincoln to the existing wiring harness of the Ranger. We have Headman Headers shortys on it for exhaust.

My question is has anyone ever used the o2 sensor simulators ?? and do they work??. We are going to put the bungs in for the o2 sensors in the header flanges so we can go either way.

Thanks in advance...Bruce

Ideally a simulator would work but your computer won't be getting an accurate reading. From what I have always thought you were to use the simulator for the OBDII vehicles when you lose some converters to prevent the CEL. You will only have an upstream sensor which I would just install that in the collector.
