Rear leafs are in really bad shape so I saw in the tech section that the Exp leafs will bolt right up with the minimum of effort. I have a 7.5 and would really like to have a 8.8 L/S since snow is rapidly approaching. A buddy works at a jy and lets me know when stuff comes in and there is a 99' Exp that came in and I can get the leafs off it. Could I just get the whole rear suspension and bolt it in...i.e. leafs and rear end.

Can I leave the axle on top and just bolt it in and of course re-do the brake lines.

Should I get the driveshaft?

Any help would be appreciated.

.

You can... If you want to lower your truck about 5½ inches.
Otherwise I'd wait for a Ranger 8.8" axle to come in at your buddy's JY.
The Ex leafs can be used on yours no prob however (just have to flip the centerpins around).
