88 into 89 2.9

I have an 89 4X4 stick with 2.9 in my truck, and have an 88 2.9 to swap into the 89. I know there were changes between those model years. Will I have any special problems because of the model year difference?

Only change was the heads where improved. It will work fine

Yeah, I would hold onto the '89 heads if they were the newer style.
