88 Bronco 2, no headlights unless you switch from low to high beam, then they work fine

Shop tightened up some bolts on it a while back, its loose again, thinking maybe a bolt or something might be stripped, have to check it out when I have everything torn apart.

You don't notice it much driving, but the steering column is subject to quite a bit of high frequency vibration while driving. The bolts can and occasionally do rattle loose while driving. One day, about a week after doing an under-dash repair to my 1990 F250 I pulled up to a gas pump and the column fell into my lap. I tightened those bolts back up myself, so I know it was done tight.

Those bolts need thread-locker to actually stay in.

New switch arrived this afternoon....not too bad to get the old one out, but how the heck do you get the turn signal lever/arm out of the old switch?

EDIT: Got it figured out, just wasn't pulling on it hard enough to get it to release. Very simple repair...and got the steering wheel assembly tightened down again with some lock-tite on the threads this time. Hopefully that takes care of it for a while.

Thanks again for everyone's assistance.
