I recently did the 2.9 to 4.0 swap. I got the engine and tranny from the 94 donor and I'm using the t-case from the B2. I got down to connecting the shifting stuff and realized that the B2 shift linkage won't connect to the EX tranny due to the B2 using linkage and the Ex using a cable shift. How do I get around this dilemma? I'm afraid I already know the answer but I was looking for someone's experienced opinion. Do I need to swap the shifting mechanism between the 2 tranny's?

You normaly have to swap out the linkages in the trans but if you're REAL handy with a MIG, you MIGHT be able to hack something together.
