ok so long time no see, i got this 88 in august and cracked the heads, three small ones on the pass. side, one big one on the drivers side, first off, im looking for improved ones, next is, im rebuilding it, and a snow storm blew snow down cyl. 3, 6, (cover blew off) so can i clean them with some parts cleaner, and then hone them, and then before putting the new heads on, put some oil in each cyl?

You can clean them up if needed. Unles you are going to tear it all the way down a hone might not be needed.
I cleaned one up with a drill spun wire brush and some cleaning solvent,
runs fine and doesn't use oil that I can tell. Otherwise just buff it up a bit and let it go.
