I got a great deal on some 97 Explorer power leather bucket seats.
everything seems to lineup up but the front holes. do you think it would be safe to flatten the bracket and drill new holes? or is there a better idea?

You may be better off trying to bolt the seat to your brackets.
I did this with some exploder seats and stock gen1 ranger floor brackets, a little channel steel to level them and some ingenuity. It works good for me but the direct bolt in didn't happen since the truck was stock with the bench seat.

Mine aren't electric so I know nothing of wiring that part.

Good luck

Rich

with electric seats you cant swap tracks without losing most of the power options, its looks like I am going to have to bend and drill new holes
