ive seen a few of the gen 1 stepsides but i thought they were custom jobs? either way as a fellow Steppie driver thats gonna be one NICE truck. whats the plans for it besides the 5.0?

after i get it goin i'd like to get the body cleaned up and repainted then some time after that a 2/2 or 3/4 inch drop. im going to be running a side exit exhaust. black out the rims and flat black hood. i have some ideas for the interior i think will turn out nice too. i just want it to be a nice weekend driver that can still haul some ass when needed too.

I haven't seen many step sides at all...looks good man, keep us posted!

here in a little bit ill be headin out to go see how much of the wiring can get done, and if i get sick of doin that ill be puttin the new rear end under it too. 9" with 3.73's. cant wait to get it fired up and take it for a test drive. im sure ill be very traction limited though.

Damn, those are as rare as the 94-99 Rams with stepsides. Looks good. definitely worth restoring.

yeah thats the plan. id like to completely redo the floors too this summer and a new firewall. when i had the motor out i found a few spots that were rusted thru but overall its pretty solid. does anyone know where i can get new motorcraft custom order stickers for the doors????

This is a rare truck. I'd like to see some good pics of it.
