I like the Magnum 500 wheels and Boss stripes, Do you have any engine and interior pictures ?
I think a shaker hood scoop would be cool on your Boss 302 Ranger.

Any links/ how to on your hood?

Don't have any links or any suggestions on how to do the hood, I created it from scratch with zero instruction or professional help.
I can post step-by-step pics of how I did it though.

Since I had no instructions and had never done anything like it before i had to figure out a way to lay the first layer of fiberglass without it sticking to the original hood. I had a can of boat wax laying around and covered the hood in multiple layers, without removing it. I layed the first layer of glass and let it dry over night. The next day gently, lifted the layer from the hood. I had a perfect beginning layer, I just kept adding additional layers on top and bottom until i reached about the same thickness of original hood. Then used a cut off wheel to carefully cut off exces glass. I put it on the truck and used the cut off wheel to create the straight lines and body gap. After i had it fitting how i wanted i layed bondo on the top to create the smooth surface.

The process is actually decently simple if you can use basic tools. And it only cost about $200 in materials

How many layers of mat do you think you ended up laying?

Not crazy about the scoop looks too big for the truck, but like everything else. Even if I don't like the scoop I can still respect and appreciate the work put into the hood.

I am envious of the Magnum 500s, my first (and favorite (RIP)) Ranger had them until it needed tires and 16's were on sale. That's why I'll be running 03-04 Mach 1 wheels on the one I'm building. Closest style I can find until I can afford aftermarkets in the 17" size range.

Yeah the scoop is a little bit un-proportional for the size of the truck, but being only 17 an original Boss 302 shaker was a little bit out of my price range. But thank you, the hood was probably one of the most challenging things to get right.

Rangers do look good with Mach 1 wheels
