'87 Ranger STX solenoid buzz

Hi Ranger fans. My 2.9 Ranger has a buzzing EGR solenoid. It continues to buzz for up to a minute after I shut the engine off. How normal is this, if at all? Thanks for any insight.
 
My '86 would buzz for around 15 seconds after turning it off. I believe it is just the vacuum bleeding out at the vacuum solenoid on the fender.
