ok so i pulled one of my back speakers to see if a 6x9 will fit only to find a label that says premium speaker on it so i just checked the other back one and it says nothing i also checked the little compartment in the dash and all thats there is the electric shift stuff thats no longer needed (will be removed some day) so no amp i pulled one of the front speakers and the screws were pretty damn tight i only did one of them and it had nothing on the back. i am the third owner of the truck and my grandpa was the second and ik he wouldnt have replaced both speakers let alone replace them with premium ones so either the original owner did or something else. is this normal?

heres the link to see what size speakers you need http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Audio_WhatFits.html Sometimes the truck could be outfitted with "premium sound systems" from the factory so that could be the case here unless the speakers have any kind of color other than black or gray on the cones but i could be wrong :icon_twisted:
