87 ranger 2.9 oil sensor location.

I cannot (yet) locate my oil sensor. I thought I had found it but, I think it was the temperature sensor. I have a oil warning light, not a gauge. All help is appreciated. I'm not a mechanic but I'm trying to get back on the road. Thanks.

My Google search shows that it should be on the driver side of the block, down near the motor mount. These pictures aren't perfect. But may help.

Need some help with a oil pressure gauge install. I searched TRS but was unable to find the answer to my question. I have a 1987 Ranger with a 2.9 and want to install a aftermarket electric oil pressure gauge to compliment the factory gauge package. The location of the factory sending unit is...

It's in the left side of the oil pan if it's the oil level sensor, if it's the oil pressure sender it's in the left side of the block just behind the joint at the timing cover.
