Could have just been a mistake. If they removed the glovebox and tried to connect it from underneath I could see the pin getting bent and "push harder" did the rest....and heres another one... does anybody have insight as to why someone would bend up that particular tab? It seems that this is the seatbelt buzzer or warning of some sort...

I've seen them plenty of times on ebay. I actually bought the center part to replace mine off of ebay.What do you guys do for steering wheels? This one is pretty tattered and Hudson wants to replace it. He is not concerned with keeping it stock.
Does your wheel have controls for cruise control ?
