can some one tell me how much free play there should be on the kick down cable mine doesent seem to do anythink and looks like to much play

The cable shouldn't move until the engine is close to at full throttle.
The modulator takes are of the shift points until wide open throttle.

thanks thought that was the case i belelieve that the spring on cable compressed ill try and strecth it as cant find a cable over here
