87 2.3 retrofit: what year for duraspark II

I'm retro fitting my 87 2.3 to carb/duraspark II. The guys at the parts store only know year/model. So.... what year/model will get me to duraspark?

I know the 84 ranger 4 cyl has it and according to my chiltons the 85 came with a 2.3 carbed duraspark also but it has the feedback carb with the mcu but I am sure you can adapt a non feedback carb and eliminate all the emission stuff so all you need is PCV and timing advance for the vacuum. 86-87-88 only had the carb on the 2.0.
