Well i bought this truck for $150. Its a 5 speed with a burnt up 2.3 haha. but I picked up a good 2.3T from an 88 T-bird tc, along with the wires and ecu that i will be putting in her. I have many ideas for this truck. So far i have lowered it 2/3 and right now i am working on the shaving engine bay and putting in pannels to cover over the ugly stuff. :icon_welder:

good idea but bad idea, me and my dad did the same thing to his 85 b2 that we just off dirt racing and every time he hits a mud puddle we get water in the carb. and when you roll over it does alot of damage. just good idea so far just take some .22 gauge sheet metal and form into place to make inter fender covers.

Yea i already have the .22 gauge sheet metal, but im going keep it removable. im painting the sheet metal and engine bay black and i have stainless steel torques screws that i'll place every 3 or 4 inches or something like that....I know its not going to be extremly easy to take off but i will be able to remove it if i have to.

Cool man, keep the progress pics coming. I'm interested to see how that looks when it's done.

Well i went over and did a little more work on the bay, not much but i got a little done. I cut out the sheet metal for the covers but i still have to clean them up and fit them a little better then i can screw them on......heres a few shots....
