hey guys im new to this site and a new ranger owner, i have a question about my o2 sensor i dont know where the location is stock and it looks like someone made have custom made the exhaust on my truck. my o2 sensor is located in a small pipe that is welded between my left and right manifold right before my cat, is this stock ? cause it dosent really seem like the o2 will get any flow by it to get an o2 reading ive searched and searched online for a pick of a stock set up and cant find anythign but i figured you guy would know ... thanks

In 86 and 87 the factory location was in a small cross-over tube welded between the two branches of the Y-pipe (what I think you are referring to as the "manifolds).

In 88 it was moved down by the Y-pipe to cat flange where it stayed for the rest of the production run.
