86 ext cab- project fullwidth

nice find!! deff looking better on day light haha!!
need some work but deff u can do it!:D
yeah level the cab and bed, nice man, hope to see it on work soon!!

you should take the box off the 2wd and make the 4x4 a ex cab long box, that would be different, I always wanted to do it. Plus pulling the box will make the 9" swap eaiser

oh yeah, hockey pucks are not body mounts, you should try and fix that during the build, safety first

yea ive always planned on fixing that, and i planned to take it off anyways when i put the 9" on

and that would be cool for the box but on the ranger the box is in hard shape
thanks for the suggestions

had her running toinght:yahoo: i poured gas down the intake and she fired up off that then started sucking a bit from the tank but not much, so tomorrow im gonna change the fuel filter, i started it tonight but it was getting dark so i said screw it, hopefully tomorrow she will be working good enough that i can drive her :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Not going to lie, 100 dollar's is not bad at all. espically if it runs, hell i payed 500 for mine and it barelly ran. Throw some seafoam in the tank. when you do the filter.

well i removed a plate on the chassis thinking the filter was behind it, when really it was the other pump, so after i got it off i figured ill put the compressor up to it anyways to get some snot out, and i did so and hooked it back up and when i cross out the sylenoid now its like she looses all power then wen i release the screw driver the pump cuts in again. WTF. and i do know that my battery is dead, so would this have any effect on it? even though it is on the charger

ooo nooo thats sad:sad:
try charging the batt first, maybe working with it hooked to a charger affects it

yea the charger i got is only the size of a coke bottle lol

battery is charged, and i changed the sylenoid twice, and still the same, only this time at least when i turn the key i hear a 'click' sound, but i turned on the headlights and i tried crossing her out and the head lights went out, so she looses allpower when she is crossed out..
any ideas?
thanks guys

thats some really weird shit man, my guess is that soemthing must be going short circuit when u cross it, but i dont know what would it be, maybe a more experienced member can help out with this

your battery could be charged, but have the Cold Cranking Amp's be bad. but try hooking another vehicles battery up that you know work's.That would be one place to start, Could also be bad connections check how they are on the battery

just got out of two hours of kick boxing, my brain is a little rattled, but let me think through the keyboard for a second, make sure the battery is FULLY charged first, its drawing power when power is put accross the solonoid if your crossing the solonoid there is no fuse protecting the circuit? if there was a short in the starting motort would draw high current in this situation right? so if the battery is fully charged and you take the solonoid out of the circuit it has to be the starting motor, I know you just put a starter in it but it might be the problem, oh wait... check the wire from the solonoind to the starter to see if its chafed or broken anywhere, maybe its going to ground somewhere on the wire... but personally I dont think your battery got enough to crank the old girl over, try some booster cables on another truck that is running.
sorry if this dont make sense, I got kicked in the head really hard

well its the battery that i just used in the B2 to drive her up across the garden cause my buddy is taking her so i know the battery is good. also not sure if it was a bright idea but i hooked up the battery charger to the sylenoid, positve cable on the stud with the barttery cable and the negative charger cable on the stud for the starter, and she still wouldnt go?
