I have a chance to buy an 86 Bronco II. It is 4WD with manual transmission, transfer case, and hubs and power windows and locks. It has less than 200K miles on it. No holes in the body but does has rust. He'll take $600 if I pay cash. What do you guys think?

hey i would take it for only $600 even if u have to put 500 into it will be a good truck use to have one a look of fun what motor is it in
later drew

look for rust under the truck under the rear seats along the cross member and around the tail lights with the hatch open. The rest would be an easy fix. You will still have to put some money in it sooner or later. The trucks are simple to work on. Sounds like a good deal.

The motor ran nice when parked, the tranny shifts fine also. It has the 2.9L in it. I didn't take a real good look at it, I had my work close on(white shirt and tie). The rust I did see were at the corners, but no holes.
