I was cruisen the local "pull a part" and found an 86 Ranger with an instument cluster with a tach and speedo. Since mine does not have a tach, how hard is it to change the cluster. I have absolutely no idea how to hook up a tach, I know somehow it works off the coil. Since I did the duraspark conversion will that change some things?:icon_confused:

I have see these in the salvage yard, too. Tempting, yes, but you will give up your oil pressure and amps gauges with the tachometer, as they only have fuel and temperature gauges. My truck is an automatic so I've never really yearned for a tachometer very much.
