85 ranger swap with 95 mustang GT, which 5 spd works best

I have a 1985 ranger that im puting a 95 mustang gt motor w/ harness and maybe dash in, the mustang had an auto, i would like to have a 5spd, but if i can put an auto in it like a C6 can i plug in the harness to it, or what else would work?
