I'm really stumped on this one!!!! My friend bought a truck resently and we, after the original motor blew, put in a 454 from a wrecked motor home. It is throttle body injected. The motor went in fine with no real hicups till the day we fired it up. It runs but it throws fuel into the engine like a water hose and the exhaust is real rich. So we went to jegs and bought an aftermarket holley (the biggest one cause they are made for small blocks) and it does the same thing. My fuel pressure is right. It runs and sounds good, drives ok. just uses way to much fuel. Seems like it should catch on fire even. What am I not seeing here? Any sugestions please!
