'84 Ranger 4x4 Making A Monster

So today at work I start driving and I hear a loud noise from underneath. It was my rear driveshaft dragging on the ground. :icon_surprised:
One of the U-joint caps fell off and the joint was just sitting inside the saddle. It Finally fell out.

And apparently the Bronco 2 driveshaft is not the same as the bronco. So I have to just take the joint and saddle and swap them.

 :icon_welder:

My friend blew a drive shaft on a 4runner a few years ago while doing like 90 km/hr... It ****ed shit up.

Like, broke both rear coils, destroyed the bellhousing (cracked it and ripped out all but 3 bolts) and did a bunch of damage to the exhaust and body. It was spectacular.

Well apparently its illegal to tint taillight/side markers in California. So I might layoff on the tail lights for a wile. I already did the side markers.
Yeah, but i did and havent got nailed. But i do have a set of stockers if it bugs them too much. I havent done the sides yet, looks good.:icon_thumby:

It's illegal in Utah too but mine look just great ;) for extra legality help I threw silver star bulbs all around, added 2x100w auxiliary reverse lights as well as some lights under the tailgate wired as hidden park lights - no cop will touch that (don't blame me if you happen to pass a super moody cop though...:) )

Ok sounds like you guys have talked me into it. I ordered a can!

And thanks! I did the side markers with regular spray paint. Just a thin coat and some light still comes through. I just wasn't too worried about those. :thefinger:

The image quality sucks but this should kind of help show what I was talking about with under-tailgate lighting. You could go with full length LED strips if you really want to pay for them but hey, this was only 20 bucks. It's brighter in real life than it is in the picture.

Thanks for the visual. Its now gunna be awhile for any thing since I bought a car and now have car payments. :bawling:

Ok so ran into some problems while on the trail. First my rear pass side brake shoes grenade themselves then my exhaust came undone at the muffler which caused the muffler and pipe to wrap itself around the rear axle. But over all the truck did awesome for the trail I was running.

The trail is really hard to see in this pic but its down the ravine.

The Thrush Glass Pack Muffler got destroyed so I guess its just time to straight pipe it. :icon_welder:

I didn't get a pic of the brake shoes cuz I had replaced everything before I thought of taking a picture.

Picked up some trail lights for my bumper. They work pretty good considering they are just some tractor lights.

Also covered my dashboard. Camo bed sheets worked great!

These are some old updates but I figured I would put them on anyway.

Side dumped my exhaust after having it ripped off from a rough trail.

Single cab with 12" FLI sub. Forget passengers! :thefinger:
