Hello... Im researching for a customer request.
I have a complete running driving 99 Ranger 4.0 OHV 125K 5 speed 4x4.
Cust has 84 4x4 ranger 2.8 5 speed...
He wants me to swap this in for him. I been looking around in this site and have found tons of info on the NONE OBD II swap.... but nothing on the 96 and newer OBDII
Can someone direct me to wiring this up?
Do I need to do the dash swap or can we keep the 84 dash and make the 4.0 Stand alone?
We are in NH and have no concerns about Emissions... but it needs to run right.
Any tips? Links that would be helpful is appreciated.
I have done these types of swaps on other vehicles... LS Swaps.. Suzuki Samurai 1.6 swaps... VW 2.0 etc...
