:dunno:Me again I am needing to get a manual fuel pump the will work with my power steering conversion I made. I hade to remove the on I had because it was in the way of my power steering pump. I hear they make pumps that are reversible some how and might work on my 2.3. Ever since I put in an electric one I have had nothing but problems. HELP!

Make sure the fuel pump you installed is only pushing about 8 psi at most to the carburetor. The mechanical pump only put out 5-7 psi, another thing is make sure the thing is actually working, I would just use a relay and a toggle switch for the thing so you know when it's on and off.

That ^^^

And, remember electric pumps push a lot better than pull. So it needs to be lower than the fuel tank to get the most out of it.
