80’s-90’s Extended Cab Quarter Window interchangeability

Back again with another question. I want to get those little extended cab quarter windows that can open. But I don’t know if the Gen 1 Rangers had that option. I have one of those Haynes manuals and it has an early 90’s ranger on the cover with the opening quarter windows. Would it be possible to swap windows out? could I find like a 1993 or 1994 model that has them and swap them out?

I would think only up to 92 they would be the same

If you find the windows, I would take a good look at the truck too, if you can. There may be recesses molded into the plastic trim to clear the opening/window lock mechanism.

I'm pretty sure the windows are the same all through like the rear windows, extended cabs started in '86... the little springs might be different for the different bodies though if you're looking in a junkyard, take a drill with you, they're riveted in...

It feels weird to say that I haven't seen a 1st gen without them. Kinda like the jump seats. I know trucks exist without them. Just never seen one.
