Putting a 77 f150 dana44 under the front of my ranger. (full width)

I dont really want to go through and completly rebuild the matching 9" i have. (im lazy and dont want to spend the money if i dont have to)

Does anybody have any experience with adapter/spacers?

I havent measured yet to see how close they will be, I am more concerned about wheelin the shit right out of them.

Are they gonna be a pain to keep tight?

Am i gonna be breaking axles? (welded , 5.13's, 35" boggers)

Thanks.

I was going to go with adapters on my SAS swap, but I got a great deal on new axles for the 8.8 rear that I have. The new axles came with both 5x4.5" and 5x5.5" bolt patterns.

A buddy machined a set of adapters for me. I've still got them sitting in the garage. They're the same adapters that Wahlstrom has been running for quite a while and I don't think he's had really any problems with them.
