8.8 Pre-Runner Truss?

I have a '04 with camburg 5.5" up front with the 7.5 stock rear end. I have a 8.8 with 2.73 and the trac-lock off a '95 explorer so it has the disk brake rears in the garage waiting for spring perch to be welded on. I also got the leaves off the explorer to swap on.

Now my main question is to truss or not? I don't plan on going super crazy, but I do live in Arizona so jumps are not out of the question. I am planning on welding the tube to the dif housing.
