Hey all I'm working to put my 8.8 expo axle from a 98 into my 89 ranger trying to get good measurements for leaf sping perches is a pain. Anyone have them handy or a link to where they are posted. Having trouble with searching.

Frame and leaf widths are the same on all Rangers 1983 thru 2011, body got wider in 1993 but frame never changed

And Explorer leaf widths were the same as Rangers, perches were just on the bottom of axle instead of the top
38.5" center to center

Good read here on doing this swap: https://www.therangerstation.com/tech/ford-explorer-8-8-inch-rear-axle-swap/
Thanks bud not sure if you've ever tried to get those measurements on your back in gravel under a truck with just a tape measure but it was a pain. Just so happens that's what I ended up with. I ground all the mounts off years ago. Axle has been in the shed of dreams lol. But this 89 has cross threaded and busted lug nuts so I figured it was easier to just put the 8.8 in this truck:rolleyes:  . Just got my tack welds on leaf perches and shock mounts
