ok guys. I'm planning on putting an 8" SJ lift on in December as that is my christmas break, and i'll have a couple weeks to get everything all together and just plug and go. However, i've got a bit of a dilemma...

i got my explorer axle about a week ago, and just goin through it getting it prepped to put it(rebuilding brakes, powdercoating, leaf perches, shock mounts...) should i wait to put it in at the same time as the lift or do it now, and re-align the angles later? Or would i be alright with the angles if i put it in now and install the lift later? I've already put a solid driveline in:yahoo: and plan on pulling that cross-member out and "fabbing" it, providing quite a bit of room for the driveline when its that high... also does anyone know how often i'll be goin through u-joints after i do that? would it be beneficial to do a cv driveshaft when i can and then turn the axle?:icon_confused: I got a lot of questions cause i don't wanna be rattling my teeth outta my head when i'm done.

Get it ready and put it in when everything else is going together.

If you're not planning on utilizing it before then I would wait. Might as well get what you can out of the current axle.
