I've recently decided I wanted to full width swap my ranger so I went and bought a 79 Dana 44 out of a bronco. with the casted wedges on the axle I was wondering if the radius arms would be too far out to mount on the inside of my frame. this is my first sas and any help is appreciated

Depends on how you go about this. If the radius arms are stock it will be wider than the rbv frame rails. You could extend your radius arms making them move closer in the longer they get. I had a '77 axle and I cut my wedges off and moved them in about 1.5" on each side.

37.4" width from outside of frame rail to outside of frame rail.

I believe the rbvs are about ~32"

I'm in the process of picking up a 78/79 D44 woth cast wedges also. Plan on doing leaf springs for the simplicity of it. Search Bronco 2 d44 swap. On the passenger side, two different sized u bolts to clamp over the casting. Spring perch was right up against the casting or close. I really couldn't tell on the driver's side. It was a clean install and looked well put together.
