Ok boys dont get upset I have a plan. So, I sold my 89 B2 to get this 78 dodge truck with a 318 in it. I have a soft side for old mopars, they have been in the family for yrs. I'm the only Ford guy on my mom and dads side. So the plan is to get this old dodge back on two legs, running, and roasting tires like it should. Reason being, there is a person who like myself likes old mopar, and he also has a B2 that he is selling but asking way to much. Now he is the original owner of this B2 so you can imagine the shape its in. Here is the problem...The 318 is blowing oil out of the dipstick tube. This could be a minute problem or a big problem. Far as I know, it has the proper PCV and no unknown internal issues. From my previous post, you know I am no mechanic by any means, I can barely spell the word. Well at least not a major mechanic. Its nothing I fancy. So should I have it pressure tested or what would be the case in this. I just thought about running engine cleaner through it and running heavy weight oil. If it has high compression due to w/e that wouldnt help I dont think. Any ideas and suggestions would help. Again, it's going to a good cause by getting me that B2. Take yall and stay country...
