A few months back I acquired a 1977 Suzuki GS750, It had had a carburator problem and the engine caught fire due to a fuel leak. The engine itself was fine and aside from a carb rebuild its good to go. The wiring is a mess though, the wires coming off of the stator are good but all of the wiring leading to the points was shot.
My questions are this, how can I wire it to make it run, It has dual points and two coils which fire two plugs apiece. I've never had to wire something like this so I have no idea of how things need to be wired. Even a factory wiring schematic would be helpful but I have been unable to find anything. I need to know which wires do what that come off of the stator as well.
This motor is going to be used in a go-kart if we can get it wired to run, I have a feeling that it would be interesting with a 68hp motor in a 400lb vehicle but thats just me. I appreciate any input whatsoever.
