Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
So my dad just acquired this beauty, needs a little work. I once heard that PANTHER front suspensions will fit these older fords, does anybody know anything about that, or these trucks in particular

I may have misspoke, isn't "Panther" what the Town Car/Grand Marquis/Crown Vic was called
Link below:

Years ago, I was watching "Gas Monkey" and they got a F100 for a "shop truck". I'm pretty sure the Guy with all the money said it was a easy swap and the whole front end practically bolts right up. But who knows, maybe there's more too it than that.

Sorry, I had Chevy's during that era, a 63 Fleetside pickup w/ a 327 4bbl and a 64 Impala w/ a 283 2bbl. Got into Ford's in mid 70s with a 73 Econoline 300/6

Oops, I did swap the Impala for A 64 Galaxy 500 w/ a Cleveland 351 he'd took out of a pickup, it had a 4 on the floor and fell apart within 6 months :D

The panther front ends are super popular on guys sport trucking their 64+ trucks. Seen it done on a few 73-79s, but didnt know they would go on the pre I beam rigs.

Have a buddy with one with a 6.2/Torqshift6 swap. He's a member on here.

Truck is still under construction, but nearly finished. One of the nicest F100s I've ever seen.

I'll see if I can't nudge him for some pics/tech advice.

A bit of discussion here:
This seems like way too much, but Panthers are all over the place
This is a very NICE build, probly more than I'm willing to do. Maybe a tamer version of this build. Who knows, It's still at the PO's house. We gotta trailer it to wherever it's gonna sit until we start this project.

Does any body know the difference in frames between a 61 F100 and F150 of similar year
