so i have been seaching this for like an hour now and have come up with 2 answers.. with the skyjacker fr36 do i need the factory 2" block to get the full 6" or no?

To get a full 6" lift, you will need the 2" factory block. Without the block you will get 4" of lift.

If you have a 6" front lift, you will want to leave the block out so your truck sets level.

ok thanks that makes sense. so if wanted a full 6" without blocks i could just add the chevy drop shackles?

Yea that would be a good idea. You would get great flex and travel out of that too.

I thought that the FR36 gave a full 6" without the block. This means 8" with stock block. Maybe it depends on your truck, but with my 91 ranger, it comes from the factory with a 2" block. So when I ordered a 6" kit I got the FR34 springs.

My FR34s lifted mine almost an exact 4" with the block (front is up about 5").
