On my drop bracket for the beams there are 2 bolt holes, one right above the outher. Can some one please tell me what there for?

one is for a 4 inch lift and the other is for a 6 inch lift

okey what if one of the beams is in the top and the outher in the bottom?

What he said:icon_thumby:

Most guys use the upper hole(4") because they claim the lower hole(6") makes the TTB almost impossible to align.

EDIT: an they NEED to be in the same hole. No reason for them not to be in the same

i imagine that would make it hard as hell to align......or maybe not. the TTB is full of mystery

Skyjacker is an odd case where the holes on both sides aren't exactly matched for height (why, I haven't a clue), so if it's right in-between where one side has the upper hole closer to where it needs to be, and the other side the lower, that's probably what they went with. As long as the camber alignment out at the wheel is good, I don't see an issue with it.

I've also seen people (myself included) take and drill a hole right smack in between the existing two holes and put the axle there to line it up too.

um...It sets the same on boath sides. And by jus lookin at it by all it looks pretty lined up. Givein I have never drivein it yet I have no clue. lol

If the wheel alignment is OK and it drives fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

guess i'll just have to wait till i get the damn thing drivein.lol
