And anybody with more than two brain cells knows their "blockade" won't hold for more than a couple days.

If they start jacking with oil prices like that they are going to get themselves on everybody's crap list in a real big hurry.

I am more worried about another war coming about than oil prices...

Go read up on the '88 Tanker War. Iran can successfully blockade the Straights of Hormuz from passing tankers, they've done so in the past and are more capable today (really all it takes is a proven ability to sink unartmed ships in the Straights and Iran has enough hardened Silkworm launchers and fast gunboats to do so). They can't stop warships though.

If they try, it'll be months of mess, just like in '88

I live in Quincy Ca. and paid $424 two days ago.Thank goodness we had a chain grocery store bring prices down around here.In the town next to us gas is about 25cents more.

O.K. Men......here's the scoop.....In the '60s, yep-last century, I worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico as a summer job each year...Loo-z-anna was BOOMING--everybody had a job...
people up north had jobs that spun off from the oil exploration down here...

now argue with a fool if you must, but it's just about guaranteed that gas would drop a buck a gallon if the IDIOTS in War-shington would crank up exploration again along the Gulf Coast...and Iran-istan would drop the price of a bucke......errrr....barrel of oil by 30%......

so....all that garbage that the media & War-shington is feeding you guys (the present generation) is nothing more than propaganda....

but....alas....nothing will change.....it's not to the benefit of the Fat-Cats........

Good one! That attitude is why the Arabs are sucking our wallets dry....I worked on oil platforms long enuff to see that Big Oil Bosses gave the orders on oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico....

and those same Bosses are the ones who caused the catastrophes.....

the blue-collar workers & the platform supervisors were constantly at odds with the Big Wheels--as in screaming/cussing odds at unsafe orders passed down by the Suits...
